Gus Garcia-Roberts will be joining The Washington Post as an investigative reporter, Sports. He comes to the Post from USA Today where he was working as an investigative reporter.
He also held the same posts at the Los Angeles Times and Newsday. He was also a senior writer at Miami New Times and a staff writer at Cleveland Scene.
Garcia-Roberts is also the co-author of “Blood Sport: A-Rod and the Quest to End Baseball’s Steroid Era.” He has also been a three-time finalist for the Livingston Award for Young Journalists, an IRE Award finalist and a Pulitzer Prize finalist for Public Service.
Garcia-Roberts is a graduate of Earlham College.
