Gannett reporter Walker departs

Adria R. Walker

Adria R. Walker, an upstate New York storytelling reporter at Gannett | USA Today Network, has left. Her tweet reads:

“I’ve learned a lot these last several years. I’m so grateful for my time on staff & here in wny. what’s to come is to come and I’ll share more about that later. for now, I want to implore y’all to continue supporting (or start supporting) your local newspaper(s).”

Previously, Walker was a reporter at the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y., also part of the USA Today Network.

Walker has a B.A. from Millsaps College in Mississippi.
