Mackenzie Warren

Mackenzie Warren, senior director for Gannett’s career development and training, has been appointed director of the new Local News Accelerator at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Warren’s LinkedIn post reads:

“My personal mission is to make the world a better place: one day at a time, one person at a time, one act at a time. For 23 years, I’ve carried out that mission through #local #journalism. Starting in year 24, I’ll be returning to Northwestern University Medill School to help forge the new models that will carry our craft forward. There’s never been a more important time to be a journalist.”
