“My personal mission is to make the world a better place: one day at a time, one person at a time, one act at a time. For 23 years, I’ve carried out that mission through #local #journalism. Starting in year 24, I’ll be returning to Northwestern University Medill School to help forge the new models that will carry our craft forward. There’s never been a more important time to be a journalist.”
