Ellie Fry, deputy editor for IndyBest, will leave her post to join the Daily Mirror as a senior lifestyle writer.
Fry begins next month.
Previously, Fry was a commissioning editor for IndyBest, The Independent’s breaking news, comments and features site. Before that, she served as a production assistant and worked at The Guardian. She reported and wrote for the EastLondonLines and The Marketplace Magazine.
Fry has a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from the University of Leicester and a master’s degree in journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London.
