Fox-affiliated TV station reporter Konopasek set to depart

Michael Konopasek, a reporter and anchor at KDVR-TV Ch. 31, a Fox-affiliated station in Denver, Colo. will join Denver-based Frontier Airlines as a corporate communications manager.

He wrote on Twitter:

“After 12 years in TV news, it’s time for a new challenge! I’ve accepted an offer to serve as Corporate Communications Manager at Denver-based Frontier Airlines. Thanks to friends and family for supporting me in this process.”

Konopasek has reported for KING-TV Ch. 5, an NBC-affiliated station in Seattle and KWTV-DT Ch. 9, a CBS-affiliated station in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Konopasek has a B.A. from Ball State University.
