Fort Worth TV station hires Mugavero as news reporter

Amelia Mugavero has joined CBS station KTVT-TV Ch. 11 in Fort Worth as a news reporter. She wrote on X/Twitter:

“This is truly a dream come true to be able to share stories in the DFW area and be close to my family! I give all the glory to God!”

Recently, Mugavero held the posts of journalist, traffic anchor and anchor/reporter at KTVI-TV Ch. 2, a Fox affiliate in St. Louis. She also worked as a TV news reporter and reporter/multimedia journalist at multimedia company Griffin Media in Oklahoma.

She was a multimedia journalist at KTEN-TV Ch. 10, an NBC-, CW Plus and ABC affiliate in Ada, Okla.

She interned at Dallas’ Fox outlet KDFW-TV Ch. 4, CBS station WCIA-TV Ch. 3 in Champaign, Ill. and at CBS Radio.

Mugavero has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
