Former Journal Sentinel editor Stanley joins media company

George Stanley, who recently retired as editor of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, has joined Green Bay-based media company Multi Media Channels LLC as local news initiatives adviser.

Stanley also served as the regional editor of the USA Today Network and had been editor of the Journal Sentinel since 2015 and managing editor since 1997.

He joined the Sentinel in 1989 as a reporter covering statewide issues and also held the post of business reporter.

Stanley graduated from the University of Wisconsin.
