The Gannett-owned News-Press has appointed Tom Claybaugh general manager in the Fort Myers, Fla. market. An excerpt from the announcement reads:
“In this role, Claybaugh will work closely with the executive editor to strengthen local connection points with businesses and brands to drive community-based strategies and engagement effective Oct. 1.”
Recently, Claybaugh served as regional VP of market solutions for Southwest Florida at Gannett. He has also worked in several Gannett markets over the past three decades.
Claybaugh graduated from State University of New York College at Brockport.
