Fleischer joins SF Chronicle as editorial page editor

Matthew Fleischer

Matthew Fleischer is now an editorial page editor at the San Francisco Chronicle. He comes from Los Angeles Times where he served as a senior digital editor, Opinion for more than 5 years.

Prior to that, he was a senior editor at Pasadena Magazine and has worked freelance with his work appearing in Fast Company, Los Angeles Times Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Chicago Tribune, High Country News and The Advocate, among others.

He was also an investigative reporter at WitnessLA and an editor at mediabistro.com. He has also worked as a senior editor at L.A. CityBeat and as a staff writer at LA Weekly.

Fleischer is a M.A. in journalism from New York University.
