Evening Standard names Chesterton exec editor

George Chesterton

The Evening Standard has appointed George Chesterton as executive editor. He will begin in September.

Since October 2021, Chesterton has been serving as associate managing editor of The Telegraph. He worked at Condé Nast Britain for more than eight years as chief sub-editor and managing editor.

He also worked at Guardian News & Media as a production editor for more than nine years.
