Evening Standard hires Hassan as digital journalist

Beril Naz Hassan

Beril Naz Hassan has joined the Evening Standard as a digital journalist to cover lifestyle, culture and trends.

Previously, Hassan was an EMEA editorial lead and content operations manager at Meta and a digital SEO journalist at Metro.co.uk. She was also a content curator at Meta.

She worked at BBC News and served as a digital SEO reporter and social writer for The Sun at News UK. She was a digital journalist at OK! Magazine and an entertainment researcher at the Press Association.

Hassan has a BSc. from the University of Birmingham and a M.A. from City, University of London.
