ESPN taps Arun to serve as assistant editor

Shubi Arun

Shubi Arun has joined ESPN in the U.K. as an assistant editor. Recently, he worked as a writer at The Cricketer in London.

Arun also freelanced as a sports and culture writer, and was a cricket reporter at the Daily Mail, The Telegraph and PA Media.

He gained work experience at The Independent and was a producer at Al Jazeera. He interned at Observer.com and Boston Magazine. He also held the posts of junior sports reporter, soccer columnist and sports editor at Boston University’s student newspaper The Daily Free Press.

An award-winning journalist, Arun has a B.S. in journalism from Boston University and an M.A. in sports journalism from St. Mary’s University, Twickenham in London.
