Emily M. Eng will join The Washington Post’s Graphics team as an assignment editor to work with a group of graphics reporters based on the West Coast. Eng starts on Aug. 29.
She will join from The Seattle Times, where she worked for six years, as a news graphics artist and recently as graphics editor. Before that, she interned at National Geographic before joining as a graphic designer.
Eng has a bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University and earned a science illustration graduate certificate from California State University.
