“El Washington Post,” the Washington Post’s Spanish-language podcast, was honored as this year’s best multinational podcast by the Latin Podcast Awards which recognize productions from Latin America, Spain, and the U.S.
“On this occasion, the winners competed against hundreds of representatives from the United States, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Paraguay, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico,” the awards announcement read.
The initiative was launched last year and in four episodes each week, hosts Juan Carlos Iragorri, Dori Toribio and Jorge Espinosa provide listeners smart insight into the day’s top global headlines.
