Politico has hired Lauren Egan on its White House team, where she will help helm the West Wing Playbook newsletter.
Egan begins on Dec. 13.
Recently, Egan was a White House reporter at NBC News, where she also worked as a desk assistant and political reporter.
She was part of a group of 21 journalists who were selected by The National Press Foundation for the 2019-2020 class of its prestigious Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellowship.
Egan graduated from Vanderbilt University.
