Edelman hires Vales as VP, media and executive positioning

Tara Vales has joined Edelman’s external affairs team as VP of media and executive positioning, reports Politico.

Recently, she was senior manager of public relations at CNN.

She has also worked as a foreign policy fellow at The Wilson Center, and a corporate communications intern and then a coordinator of editorial services at Public Broadcasting Service.

Vales was also a media relations intern at C-SPAN.

Vales is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
