The Sunday Times has hired Louise Eccles as consumer affairs editor. Previously, she was a personal finance correspondent at the Daily Mail Online. She also held the posts of general news reporter and business and property correspondent at the company.
There, she also won Insurance Journalist of the Year Award at the 2018 Headline Money Awards and was a finalist for Business Journalist of the Year at the 2017 British Journalism Awards.
She was also a partner and senior communications officer, corporate and finance services at John Lewis & Partners.
Eccles graduated from the University of Nottingham.
