MinnPost, an online publication in Minneapolis, has hired Elizabeth Dunbar as its next editor.
She joins the nonprofit on July 11.
Recently, Dunbar was at MPR News, where she worked for more than 12 years, recently as an assistant program director. As part of the leadership team, she oversaw MPR News with Angela Davis, MPR News with Kerri Miller and In Focus, an event series.
Before that, she covered the environment and climate change for MPR News.
Prior to joining MPR, she was at The Associated Press.
Dunbar graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in journalism.
