Gannett has hired Danielle Dreilinger as a storytelling reporter for the American South. Recently, Dreilinger worked freelance.

Dreilinger reported for NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune. She was digital managing editor for local news at WGBH-FM 89.7 in Boston.

She was a news correspondent at Boston Globe Media.

Dreilinger has a B.A. from Columbia University, New York.
