Katherine Douglas will join the Houston Chronicle as deputy metro editor. Recently, Douglas served as deputy senior content editor of breaking news at the Chicago Tribune. Before that, she was a reporter at the Quick Response team.
She was an education reporter and assignment editor at the Naples Daily News. She worked as a police and public safety reporter, breaking news and social media editor and society editor at Texas paper Corpus Christi Caller-Times.
Douglas graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
