Alyssa Smith has joined Brainjolt, a hybrid engagement agency and media network in Los Angeles as director, editorial. In her new role, she will be leading a digital team across many different brands.
Smith was recently at Dotdash Meredith, where she worked for nearly eight years. There, she served as senior editor, Meredith Premium Publishing and launched Entertainment Weekly’s special issues program.
She also led or consulted on the third party specials from the History Channel, Rolling Stone and National Geographic.
Previously Smith was associate editor at Hatherleigh Press in New York.
Smith has a B.A. from Wittenberg University.
