After more than two years as a social editor for The New York Times for Kids, Alexa Díaz will join the New York Times newsroom as a social editor, based in Los Angeles.
Prior to joining the Times in 2020, Díaz was at the Los Angeles Times, where she started as an intern and later joined the staff as an audience engagement editor.
Díaz graduated from Syracuse University, where she was editor in chief of the student newspaper, The Daily Orange.
