The Detroit Free Press has promoted Anjanette Delgado to executive editor, overseeing digital operations, breaking and trending news, sports, photography, video, data and entertainment reporting.
Recently, Delgado served as senior news director for digital. Before that, she worked for 22-plus years at Gannett | USA Today Network. There, she held various roles, including managing editor, new media editor and news editor.
Delgado has also edited for The Grand Forks Herald.
Delgado graduated from the University of Jamestown in North Dakota.
