Recently, Ramsey was a high school sports reporter at The Detroit News. He also reported for the nonprofit The Center for Michigan, which publishes Bridge Michigan and BridgeDetroit.
He also held the posts of academic beat reporter and football and men’s basketball beat reporter at The State News, Michigan State University’s student newspaper.
Ramsey has a bachelor’s degree in sports journalism from Michigan State University and is pursuing a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
