Des Moines TV journalist Price departs after 22 years

Dave Price

Dave Price, political director and managing editor at Des Moines-based NBC station WHO-TV Ch. 13, tweets:

“After 22 years at WHO 13 (and it began with a two-year contract!), I’ve decided to find my ‘what’s next.’ I’m so thankful to my colleagues for their teamwork and friendship, so grateful to viewers who trusted me…

“So appreciative for the incredible people I’ve met and experiences that I treasure and so humbled that station management let me do what I’ve loved for so long and wanted me to continue to do so.

“I’m sure that I’ll still be on TV from time to time and I’m even more sure that I remain committed to seeking solutions that make our communities stronger. I’m excited about what’s ahead!”

Previously, he was a reporter/anchor at WNCF-TV Ch. 32, an ABC affiliate in Montgomery, Ala.

Price has a B.S. from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
