Des Moines’ NBC station hires Carponelli as weekend anchor/storyteller

Lisa Carponelli has joined Des Moines NBC station WHO-TV Ch. 13, as a weekend anchor and storyteller.

Previously, Carponelli was a news anchor at Des Moines’ ABC affiliate WOI-TV Ch. 5, where she worked for seven years. She was also a career coach at the Iowa Center for Economic Success, where she provided tailored and custom business counseling for women and POC-owned businesses.

Carponelli has a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University.
