Denes joins New Statesman as features editor

Melissa Denes

Melissa Denes will be joining The New Statesman as a features editor in June.

Currently, Denes is editor, Guardian Weekend magazine. She has been with Guardian News and Media for more than 19 years, joining as an assistant editor, Guardian Weekend magazine and then serving as arts editor, Guardian.

She has also worked as a features editor, Sunday Telegraph magazine at Telegraph Media Group.

Denes is a B.A. in English language and literature/letters from the University of Oxford.
