USA Today Florida has hired Jason Delgado as a statewide breaking news reporter, covering politics and more. He joins from Florida Politics, where he served as a Capitol correspondent.
Before that, Delgado reported for Politico. There, he provided public and subscription-specific coverage of the 2020 Legislative Session in Florida. He also coordinated with the national news desk to provide state and local insights on broader national news.
Delgado has a B.A. from the University of Central Florida.
