G/O Media has named Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jim Rich as editor-in-chief of the sports news and opinion website Deadspin. He begins July 31.
Recently, Rich worked on various consulting projects and was a development producer at A&E Networks. Before that, he worked as editorial director of G/O Media.
He was editor-at-large at SWNS Media Group and held the posts of deputy Sunday sports editor, deputy sports editor, deputy managing editor for Sports, night editor, executive editor, executive editor/head of content and editor-in-chief at The New York Daily News.
He also served as executive editor of HuffPost and has held editorial roles at The New York Post as well.
