Daniels to join Sinclair’s ‘Spotlight on American’ team

Sinclair has tapped Chris Daniels to serve as a correspondent on its “Spotlight on America” investigative team, which produces original reports and specials for Sinclair stations and its national newscast “The National Desk.”

He begins on August 1.

Daniels joins from KING-TV Ch. 5, an NBC affiliate in Seattle, where he worked for more than 18 years, recently as chief reporter. He formerly reported for KCPQ-TV Ch. 13, a Fox affiliate serving the Seattle-Tacoma market.

Scott Livingston, senior VP of news at Sinclair said:

“Chris is a seasoned journalist with a reputation for tackling tough topics and relentless reporting on public issues. We are thrilled he will be joining our investigative team at ‘Spotlight on America’ and can’t wait for him to get started.”
