Prior to joining the Daily Mirror, Otter was at the Manchester Evening News, where she worked as a search and trends writer and as a senior weekend content writer. She also worked as a team assistant and researcher at the BBC.
She also worked as a digital producer at Sky.
Otter graduated from the University of Sheffield.
