Daily Mirror appoints Sherlock deputy news editor for US

Gemma Sherlock

Gemma Sherlock will join The Daily Mirror as a deputy news editor as part of the U.S. expansion. Previously, she managed the consumer unit for Reach as an editor. She also served as an affiliate network content editor.

Sherlock was a live news reporter at Reach title Cheshire Live. She also served as a commercial content editor for Liverpool Echo and was a senior reporter at Johnston Press.

Sherlock has a B.A. from Liverpool John Moores University.
