The Daily Mail has tapped Xantha Leatham to serve as deputy science editor, where she will cover scientific development and research. Recently, Leatham was a news reporter.
She joined the Daily Mail in September 2016. Before that, she was a journalist at Deadline News. Her wrote on courts, quirky case studies, politics and celebrities; she also contributed to human-interest and picture stories.
Leatham has a bachelor’s degree from Lancaster University and a M.A. from the University of Sheffield.
