Daily Express hires Ormiston as assistant news editor

Sam Ormiston

Sam Ormiston has joined the Daily Express as an assistant news editor. He wrote on Twitter:

“I’m still interested in hearing about any strong interview opportunities and tip-offs on the same email – sam.ormiston@reachplc.com.”

Ormiston joins from MyLondon, where he recently served as acting head of content. During his two years, he also held the posts of news reporter, senior reporter and content editor.

He also worked as a reporter at the daily newspaper The Bolton News and was a multimedia reporter at Newsquest.

Ormiston has a B.A. from the University of Stirling in Scotland.
