The Daily Dot has tapped Tricia Crimmins to serve as a senior reporter. Recently, she served as a staff reporter.
Crimmins joined in June 2021 as a reporter to write assigned news hits for the IRL section, covering TikTok, Twitter and Instagram, and to pitch and write news features.
She is part of the adjunct faculty at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and has interned and freelanced for Moment Magazine. She was an entertainment editorial fellow at Mashable and interned at Mic and the U.S. House of Representatives.
Crimmins has a bachelor’s degree from Bates College in Maine and a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
