Daily Beast appoints Bachman night editor

Brett Bachman

Brett Bachman has joined The Daily Beast as a night editor. Recently, Bachman was a U.S. news editor at DailyMail.com.

He freelanced for various outlets and was a staff writer/editor at Salon Media Group, Inc. As a digital editor at the New York Post, he oversaw digital content production for the local and national news desks.

He was a general assignment reporter at WISC-TV Ch. 3, a CBS and MyNetwork affiliate in Madison, Wis.

Bachman has a B.S. in journalism and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
