Inside Higher Ed has hired Susan D’Agostino as a technology and innovation reporter. She joins from Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, where she was an associate editor and writer.
Her work has appeared in The Atlantic, The Washington Post, Scientific American, Wired, Quanta, BBC Science Focus, Nature, Financial Times, Discover, Slate, Boston’s National Public Radio and Chronicle of Higher Education,
Her writing has been recognized with fellowships from the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford University, the National Association of Science Writers, the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing, and the Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation.
D’Agostino earned a Ph.D in mathematics at Dartmouth College, an M.A. in science writing at Johns Hopkins University, and B.A. in anthropology at Bard College.
