Alex Macon has joined D Magazine as a senior digital editor from The Dallas Morning News, where he held the post of an assistant editor.
Prior to that, Macon was at Pace Communications, having joined the company as an editor and then serving as a senior editor. Before that, he was first an online arts editor, and then held the post of online managing editor at D Magazine.
Macon has also worked as a reporter covering several beats at Galveston County Daily News and has also served as a managing editor at North Texas Daily.
Macon is a B.A. in journalism/political science from the University of North Texas.
