D.C.-based National News appoints Sennett U.S. correspondent

Ellie Sennett

The National News in Washington has promoted Ellie Sennett to the post of U.S. correspondent. She recently served as a social media journalist.

She has also worked as a reporter-producer at PBS NewsHour, has also worked at Al Jazeera as a researcher on “Upfront with Mehdi Hasan” and as an associate digital producer on “The Stream,” the network’s social media program.

She has previously also interned at Al Jazeera.

Sennett graduated from Marymount University.
