Alison MacKinnon, a multimedia journalist and weekend late-night anchor at CTV News, wrote on Twitter:

MacKinnon joined in October 2019 as a video journalist. Previously, she worked as a digital broadcast journalist at Global and as a videographer at CTV News.
MacKinnon graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
