Ryan Knappenberger has joined Courthouse News Service as a D.C. federal court reporter to cover happenings at the the D.C. district courts, superior and appeals court.
Previously, Knappenberger covered Washington, D.C. politics for Cronkite News, news division of Arizona PBS.
He worked as an arts and culture desk editor, theatre critic and digital editor at The State Press (ASU Student Media), which includes all official student publications of Arizona State University.
He interned at The Arizona Republic.
Knappenberger has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Arizona State University.
