J.L. Kirven, a sports reporter at the Courier Journal has left. His tweet reads:
“It’s always been my dream to cover MMA/Boxing 🥊 and over the next few weeks you’ll start to seeing my byline in various combat sports publications. I’ll share more on that later.”
Previously, Kirven was a Pulliam fellow at The Indianapolis Star, and a sports writer and sports editor at The Post, Ohio University’s editorially independent student paper. He interned at the Detroit Free Press and Cincinnati Enquirer, where he also freelanced.
Kirven graduated from Ohio University.
