William Kobin, a metro government and breaking news reporter at The Courier Journal in Louisville, has left to join the Bangor Daily News, where he will cover Maine politics.
Previously, Kobin was a Pulliam journalism fellow at The Indianapolis Star, where he reported for the metro desk.
He also interned at The Sacramento Bee.
Kobin graduated from Northwestern University, where he reported for the student newspaper, The Daily Northwestern.
