Hearst Magazines has tapped Samantha Olson to serve as an assistant news editor for Cosmopolitan. Recently, she served as assistant editor of Hearst title Seventeen.
Olson joined as an editorial fellow for Seventeen, and then served as an editorial assistant. She held the posts of senior editor, staff writer and deputy content editor at Her Campus Media. She interned at Orlando Weekly.
Olson has a B.A. from the University of Central Florida.
