The Associated Press has appointed Tara Copp as a Pentagon correspondent. Copp will start on Oct. 10.
Recently, she was a senior Pentagon correspondent at Defense One in Washington, D.C. She was a national military and veterans correspondent at McClatchy and served as Pentagon bureau chief at Military Times Newspapers – Sightline Media Group.
Copp was a Pentagon correspondent at Star and Stripes and was a Washington correspondent at Scripps Howard News Service.
Copp has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a M.A. from Georgetown University.
