The Charlotte Observer has hired Shane Connuck as NASCAR reporter. He will join from The Washington Post, where he was a high school sports reporter.
Previously, Connuck reported for the Capital News Service and interned at Maryland Athletics.
Connuck graduated from the University of Maryland.
