Concepcion departs TPM for NBC News

Summer Concepcion

Summer Concepcion will join NBC News Digital as a politics reporter. Concepcion was at Talking Points Memo for more than five years, where she served as news writer/front page editor.

She was a freelance researcher at The Investigative Fund, The Nation Institute. She was an editorial assistant for the 2016 election coverage at Fusion Media Network.

She interned at NBC Chicago and the Chicago Reader.

Concepcion has a B.A. in journalism from DePaul University.
