Community Impact Newspaper has tapped Melissa E. Rappa to serve as a local reporter covering the Bellaire, Meyerland and West University areas. Previously, she worked as a reporter/host, Youth Page editor and digital content producer at DeSales Media Group in New York.
Rappa freelanced and was invited to Fox News Channel headquarters to participate in a week-long orientation for Fox News’ 2016 Junior Reporters class.
She was also a digital producer at NBC Sports.
Rappa has a B.S. from St. John’s University and a master’s degree from Northwestern University.
