Hannah Wade, a food writer at the Free Press, a weekly in Columbia, S.C., has taken over as interim editor. Her tweet reads:
“I’ll be stepping in as interim editor … as we search for a new editor to replace the wonderful (and greatly missed) @david_clarey.
“As I steer the ship for a few weeks, you’ll see my byline less on food & drink stories, but rest assured we’ll still have you covered with food news from our contributors and fellow @PCColumbia staff.”
Previously, Wade reported for The Carolina News and Reporter, a student-run news website for senior journalism students at the University of South Carolina. She interned at The Greenville News Media Group.
Wade graduated from the University of South Carolina.
Be sure to congratulate Wade on Twitter.
